Who we are and what we do:
Novel Bits specializes in providing training to companies working on Bluetooth-connected products. It was founded by Mohammad Afaneh in 2015 with the goal of bridging the gap between theoretical technical specifications and practical hands-on implementation of real-world Bluetooth LE applications. We provide education and training via a mix of in-person and virtual training, online courses, blog posts, and videos.

We focus on providing top-notch training that distills complex specifications into practical hands-on actionable material that helps clients take their Bluetooth-connected products to market faster. Mohammad, the founder, is the author of the best-selling most up-to-date book on the topic of Bluetooth LE technology “Intro to Bluetooth Low Energy” (2nd Edition). He has helped thousands of engineers and developers learn Bluetooth LE and learn how to implement applications that utilize leading edge features of the technology
Working with Nordic Semiconductor:
We’ve been working with Nordic SoCs since the founding of our company. In fact, Nordic’s solutions were selected as the platform of choice for the majority of our hands-on Bluetooth LE training material. We also found that they offer the ideal platform for creating proof of concept applications, especially ones for implementing leading-edge features of Bluetooth technology. We have experience developing on the nRF51, nRF52, nRF53, and (already evaluating) the new nRF54 series chipsets.
