Who we are and what we do: 
DEWINE Labs is a specialist Bluetooth Low Energy engineering company based in Graz, Austria. Since 2016, our team has focused on developing reliable, secure and efficient BLE communication on Nordic Semiconductor platforms for industrial, medical and other production-critical applications. We support product teams throughout the development lifecycle, from diagnosing existing systems and defining new architectures to embedded software development, integration, validation, production introduction and field optimization.

What makes us unique:
We develop software for BLE chips used in demanding applications and challenging environments, including industrial warehouses, medical devices and smart-retail installations. Our analysis and on-device monitoring make low-level BLE behavior visible. This allows us to optimize communication during development and adapt it during operation, helping maintain reliable, predictable and efficient performance as conditions change.

Working with Nordic Semiconductor:
Nordic Semiconductor platforms have been at the core of our Bluetooth LE engineering since 2016. We develop and optimize embedded software for the nRF52, nRF53 and nRF54L families, working with Nordic SoCs directly and through third-party modules. We support customers from chip and module selection through architecture, firmware integration, performance optimization and production. Our experience with Nordic SDKs, the nRF Connect SDK and Zephyr enables us to support both established products and new developments.

Which projects we focus on:
We focus on products where Bluetooth LE performance is critical, particularly industrial sensors and measurement systems, medical devices, industrial automation and smart-retail systems. We work with product manufacturers and engineering teams that require reliable connectivity, predictable latency, stable throughput, low energy consumption or robust operation under interference.

Projects range from focused diagnostics and proofs of concept to embedded development, integration, validation and production optimization.

Our experience includes large-scale smart-retail systems with VUSION, time-critical control and communication of functional-safety signals with KNAPP, and high-throughput wireless diagnostics with Hitachi Rail.

Our focus area is the DACH region and Europe.

Design services
DEWINE Labs is a specialist engineering and design house for embedded Bluetooth LE software on Nordic Semiconductor products. We support customers from requirements definition, chip and module selection, system architecture and rapid prototyping through firmware development, security implementation, integration, pre-production testing, validation, transfer to production and ongoing software lifecycle support.
Our capabilities cover the nRF52, nRF53 and nRF54L families, Nordic SDKs, the nRF Connect SDK and Zephyr.
We develop and integrate customer-specific BLE communication software and use proprietary on-device monitoring and adaptation mechanisms to improve reliability, latency, throughput and energy efficiency under real operating conditions. We can deliver focused engineering work packages or take turnkey responsibility for the complete embedded BLE communication.
